Hardly Anyone Gets My Age Right

Hardly anyone guesses my age correctly. This becomes evident in the way people talk to me—as if I were much younger. I’m not complaining, of course. But it does make me pause and reflect on what I might have done right to maintain my youthful appearance.

Looking young is not the result of a single miracle solution; it requires a holistic approach. Among many factors, food plays a vital role in both health and beauty. When it comes to skin nourishment, there are two key sources: the food we consume (such as herbal teas) and the products we apply to our skin. Both matter in the journey toward aging gracefully.

When I Realized Skin Eats Too

For many years, I underestimated our skin’s remarkable ability to absorb not only tonic, but also toxic substances. I used to believe that the skin functioned independently from our bloodstream. I even argued with a friend who advised me to avoid excessive use of cosmetics. I firmly believed that toxins could only enter the body through the digestive system.

That belief was shattered about eight years ago when my doctor prescribed a topical cream. During the treatment, I observed my hormone levels rising rapidly. It became crystal clear: our pores are indeed connected to our bloodstream. I suddenly panicked at the thought of how many synthetic chemicals I had unknowingly applied to my skin over the years.

I immediately threw away all my commercial skincare products—many of which openly listed artificial preservatives and synthetic ingredients. From that point forward, I decided my skin should “eat” the same kind of food as my stomach: natural and organic.

My Skin Transformation

I began to research and experiment, eventually creating my first homemade facial care recipe. I continue to tweak the formula based on the season and my skin’s condition, but I’ve held fast to one simple principle: the ingredients must be natural, organic, and fresh—most are even food-grade. I reject artificial preservatives, coloring, and fragrances. Nature creates wonders—why use anything else?

When I started this journey, I was still recovering from a 10-year battle with severe acne. My skin was rough, oily, and scarred. Today, those who meet me can hardly believe I ever had acne. Compliments on my skin have become frequent—something I had never experienced before. I’ve shared my little bottles with friends, family, and neighbors. To this day, I’ve received only praise—never a single complaint.

Encouraged by these little successes, I’ve decided to share my products with more women who wish to age slowly and gracefully, and embrace a natural, radiant beauty. But more importantly, I hope to share the philosophy behind them: to live in harmony with nature.

About Heva and the Zero Loop Philosophy

He is a Chinese term for harmony—and that’s exactly what we aim to achieve: harmony between nature and our bodies.

Aligned with the foundational philosophy of Zero Loop, Heva’s beauty products follow two additional principles: simplicity and freshness.

Simplicity is Beauty

This timeless rule applies to much more than design. It shapes our lifestyle, our happiness, and even our skincare. The most delicious meals often come from just a few pure ingredients. Likewise, skincare products don’t need dozens of ingredients—just two or three powerful ones, often straight from nature. There is no better chemist than nature itself.

Adding complexity burdens our skin unnecessarily. We don’t need more—we need better and simpler.

Freshness is Essential

At Heva, we treat skincare like food for your skin. If you wouldn’t eat stale food, why apply expired creams loaded with chemical preservatives?

That’s why we only produce your skincare after you place an order. Most of our customers are local, so products typically reach them within two working days. This enables us to skip harmful preservatives while delivering the freshest possible formula, tailored to your needs.
