China, the birthplace of tea, has given the world the second most consumed beverage after water. This workshop explores the world of Chinese tea, covering its cultural significance, history, major varieties, nutritional benefits, and the aesthetics of tea ware. Engaging stories, analogies, and visual materials will help participants appreciate how tea reflects Chinese philosophy, daily life, and traditional values. Past participants have found the content both enriching and inspiring.
If conditions allow, a 20-minute tea-tasting session can be added at the end of the workshop to offer an immersive, hands-on experience.
